 You have been asking for another sew-along and how could we not? Join us for the Snake Trail Sew-along

I'm super excited to be co-hosting with Denyse Schmidt and the team from Sewtopia again to make Snake Trail, and the timing feels perfect with so many people in Australia right now under lockdown orders due to the ongoing impact of COVID on our communities this winter. Plus there are so many design possibilities with this clever block.  I can't wait to see what you do with it!

The Snake Trail Sew-along free to join and works like a virtual quilt class with weekly emails full of design ideas, tips and techniques, plus some tremendous prizes.  More about those soon!

We kick off on 7 September 2021 and runs for seven wiggly weeks.  You can find out more about the schedule here.

You will need to purchase a copy of the Snake Trail Quilt pattern which is available for immediate digital download.  The pattern includes project sizes and you can choose to work with the discipline of templates or loosen up with improv.  The choice is yours.

Optional Snake Trail templates are also available.  They are made from sturdy acrylic suitable for rotary cutting, and will have you whizzing through your prep.

To make the twin -size quilt you will need:

• Snake Trail Pattern
• Snake Trail Acrylic Template (Optional)
• 9 fat quarters, or equivalent (this is a great project for diving into your scrap bin!)
• 4.75m for the background

We have kits to make Denyse's cover quilt to make the twin-size quilt using her latest Five and Ten fabrics and popping orange background.
