Focal quilt pattern by Carolyn Friedlander is all about the pieced borders, but depending on your choice of fabric it could also be all about the focal panel in the centre. Go for a crisp modern look like Carolyn and use a solid for that negative space, or jazz it up with a print.
This project uses the foundation paper piecing technique and is suitable for people with some experience, or adventurous beginners.

- 37 x 21" runner
- 47 x52.5" baby quilt
- 87 x 94.5 inch queen size quilt
