Holiday Shipping Update

Whew!  What a roller coaster of a ride 2021 has dealt.  With moving interstate and  lockdowns it has been a weird combination of hurry-up, and go-slow, and somehow here we are only a few days out until Christmas.

Shipping days

The online shop will be open as usual 24/7.  I will be dropping into social media on and off, but also taking the chance to have a few days off  and make the most of the public holidays.  Here's a summary:

The last shipping day before Christmas will be Thursday December 23.  The mail usually gets picked up between 11 and midday and I will do my best to get as many parcels away in the mail that day as I can. 

I wont be shipping on Christmas Eve as I will be in full food preparation mode - yum!

Processing and shipping will resume when Australia Post starts back on Wednesday December 29.  I expect there will be a bit of a backlog but I will work to get orders in the mail as soon as I possibly can.  

A note about Express Post

I work from the oldest order to the most recent without exception.  It is not possible  to prioritise Express Post orders, however once express parcels are lodged the delivery times are decreased, so it is still a pretty good option if you find you are short on supplies over the break.

There continues to be some delays in due to the high volume of parcels hitting the Australia Post network.  You can find more information about delivery times and any potential disruptions here.

Last of all, I would like to wish you a peaceful holiday season, and thank you for your support in 2021.  I love Christmas, but let's face it, it has been a challenging couple of years.  If finding joy on Christmas day feels like a bit of a stretch, don't forget to congratulate yourself for  making it through another year of curveballs and uncertainty.
